About the name of this blog. I'm a big fan of the famous SNL skit, "Deep Thoughts with Jack Handy." My favorite one is, "if you drop your keys into a river of molten lava, let them go, because, man, they're gone." I am a 29-year-old single woman from Southern California. I spend my days working at USC -- and go to graduate school part time. I live with my sister and our two cats in Pasadena, CA.
